Family Constellations: Opening to More
11 November 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12 November 2023 @ 5:30 pm
£75 – £145Discover the hidden dynamics that affect your present life at this in-person, two-day family constellation workshop.
Hosted by: Alannah Tandy Pilbrow
Date and Time: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November, 10am – 5.30pm
Format: In-Person at the Psychosynthesis Trust, London Bridge
Why this workshop?
It can be that the causes of our difficulties do not necessarily originate with us. By opening to the larger truths of the lives of those preceding us, we can both bring to light and observe the influence and legacies from these situations and events which are affecting the present.
The family constellation method is used to investigate and reveal the hidden dynamics, often unspoken and unseen, that affect our behaviour and lives.
At the workshop, issue-holders have the opportunity to set up their own constellation working with the other participants. This becomes the knowing field. As the entanglements and hidden dynamics come to light, energy shifts, and new openings arise. It is like a map, or blueprint of the system, where all the events and information are timelessly present. More truth gets included. We, in turn, gain a much larger perspective, and clearer understanding.
The value of being a representative in others’ constellations, as well as witnessing this work, provides the opportunity for much personal insight. Also developing and deepening your own awareness and understanding. Perspectives shift in this bigger view. This can be powerful, profound, challenging, inspiring and liberating, and opens the way to life-supporting and enhancing solutions.
There will be opportunity for questions and discussion.
Who is it for?
This workshop is open to anyone interested in understanding family constellations for personal and or professional development.
Attendees can book as ‘issue holders’ or ‘witnesses’, please read below for further information.
Issue Holders
You may feel that you carry a burden, are restricted in some way. Do repeating patterns, or difficulty in relationships limit you from your full potential? Do you want to understand more of the hidden family dynamics?
Participant /Witness
It is a wonderful opportunity to experience and understand more as a representative in other’s constellations. There are usually many echoes in our own family systems. We have new insights and perspectives shift and open.
Our approach
Psychosynthesis as applied to psychotherapy is a unique approach that combines both psychology and spirituality. It is a holistic process that helps the individual deal with patterns of behaviours which inhibit or prevent living life in meaningful and fulfilling ways. It brings us into contact with the life journey to meaning and purpose.

Trainer: Alannah Tandy Pilbrow
Alannah was asked by the Trust to put together and teach the first Family Systems seminars in 2005. At that time, she had been working with Bert Hellinger and other leading figures in this field for ten years. She feels that this way of enquiring sheds light on aspects that we often do not realise are significant, and can have consequences for the individual as well as the family wellbeing. This systemic perspective is a natural addition to individual therapy.
She is an experienced UKCP Registered Transpersonal Psychotherapist, and graduated from the Trust in 1990. She works in private practice, and has been teaching and running workshops for thirty-three years. She has been a senior trainer, supervisor and staff member at the Psychosynthesis Trust.
