Held in collaboration with the Psykosyntes Akademin, this Students of Assagioli 2-hour event from June 2022 discussed the beginnings, presents, and potential futures of psychosynthesis, bringing together four of Assagioli’s students: Diana Whitmore, Thomas Yeomans, PhD, Piero Ferrucci, and Andrea Bocconi.
Drawing on their personal memories of Roberto Assagioli (founder of psychosynthesis), the students reflected on how the psychoanalyst might have reacted to contemporary matters and concerns. Their closing statements were hopeful and encouraging to current and future generations of psychosynthesis practitioners.
After the event, Thomas Yeomans stated his hope for: “participants to stay in touch with each other as they can, as part of this large and growing international community. There is so much power and creativity in this group, not to mention love and caring, and this community can generate much good work by staying in touch and encouraging/cooperating with each other.”
