Jamie Joyes

Finance and Operations Director

Jamie has been in the role of Finance and Operations Director of the Psychosynthesis Trust since March 2019, a leadership team role which is responsible for the financial health of the Trust, and the operational facilities that it provides to the community.

He joined the Trust after more than two decades in retail management, working at various levels with people, systems, and processes.  Jamie also is chair of Trustees and a Member for a Ofsted Outstanding primary multi-academy trust in East London, and is working with them to build new primary schools in new-build transient-community housing estates in areas of economic deprivation.  He also works on matchdays at Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club as the Turnstile Operations Manager, a club that is part of his family heritage.

Psychosynthesis appealed to Jamie upon realising there was a place that combined his love of psychology and spirituality, but fulfil a role that allowed his pragmatism and love of human centred design to flourish.  He is a champion for collaboration and inquiry within communities, and believes in the continued drive to reveal wholeness in what can appear to be a fragmented world.
