Who we are - Trainers
Kim Shiller
Trainer, Essentials Trainer
Essentials, Trainer, Programmes Director
Kim started her psychosynthesis journey in 2001 with the Psychosynthesis Trust.
Over the last two decades she has worked extensively with children, young people and adults therapeutically, psycho-educationally, psycho-spiritually … as a trainer; individually and in groups. Transpersonal psychology underpins many elements of the work that she does, both in her private practice, in various educational settings and in organisations.
In her previous role as Director of Training and QA at the charity Teens and Toddlers, she developed curricula for young people, underpinned by the transpersonal approach, combined with positive psychology, and integrated in facilitator/youth work trainings.
She worked with WYSE International as a facilitator / trainer and has directed their post programme coaching for many years.
Kim has a published case study in the 4th edition of Diana Whitmore’s ‘Psychosynthesis Counselling in Action’.
Her particular areas of interest lies in working consciously to support unfoldment, evolvement, and the purposeful nature of chaos in times of change. She has a fundamental interest in group dynamics, unity and difference, neuroscience, and in supporting the evolvement of the individual within the group. She holds a particular interest in working transculturally and recognises the significant contribution that under-represented diversities have to offer counselling, psychotherapy, and life. Her interests continues in learning, conscious awareness, continuity of integrating, and evolving with our changing world.
Kim says: “Experiencing first-hand the impact of the highly experiential, developed teachings of The Trust, the bar is set, to support new students’ self-development, awareness, integration and self-regulation in their development as professional practitioners.”
