Monica Zenonos

Monica is a psychosynthesis psychotherapist trained at the Trust. She has several years’ experience of working in a trauma service as well as having her own private practice. She supervised within and outside the Trust and worked in one of London’s most diverse boroughs supervising students from various modalities. She also has an interest in creative writing for therapeutic purposes and intersectionality in the therapeutic relationship.
Monica has recently been appointed to UKCP task force on equality, diversity and inclusion. She keeps studying and has written two dissertations, one on The Therapeutic Landscape of Faceblindness and the other on Physical pain, the Body and the Imaginal using concepts from transpersonal psychology. One of her articles, ‘When Everyone’s a Stranger’ (Summer,2014), was also published in Private Practice.
Working at The Psychosynthesis Trust is also an opportunity to give something back to the organisation and community where she trained.
