Sammy Saunders
Learning and Development Manager
Sammy is a registered mental health nurse by professional background. He has more than 10 years experience working in the NHS and LAs humanising care for and nurturing the growth of individuals from often marginalized groups.
He joined the Psychosynthesis Trust in August 2023 to further our training strategy, policies, and support offered to students. He’s especially interested in the potential and strengths found with intersectionality, neurodiversity, and specific learning differences.
Having dyslexia himself, previously benefiting from psychosynthesis counselling, and inspired by the Trust’s essentials course, which he found helped renew his own personal development, Sammy is passionate about his role with us.
In his spare time he balances binging on films and TV series with taking long walks in nature with his beloved partner and dog.
